David A. Goicoechea
Law Practice
Mr. Goicoechea comes to GB+S as an accomplished litigator in the state and federal courts of both Washington and Idaho.
Prior to joining GB+S, Mr. Goicoechea gained extensive experience in the area of insurance defense while a partner with a Washington law firm specializing in that field of practice. In his over 25 years in practice, Mr. Goicoechea gained a reputation as a top-tier attorney recognized for his ability to grasp difficult issues. For example, Mr. Goicoechea routinely handled cases dealing with complex fact patterns involving areas such as biomechanical engineering, medical procedures, and other sciences, and was able to not only digest those subject matters but, more importantly, effectively communicate the salient points in trial leading to verdicts in his clients’ favor. As a by-product of his litigation experience, Mr. Goicoechea is also well versed in negotiations, arbitrations, and mediations.
Since joining GB+S in 2011, Mr. Goicoechea’s practice focuses on the litigation, negotiation, arbitration and mediation of complex insurance coverage cases, medical malpractice defense, agricultural claims, products liability, and complex personal injury claims.
